CASABLANCA MOHAMMED V AIRPORT

ONDA's ambition is to transform Casablanca Mohammed V airport into a modern, adaptable infrastructure that meets the long-term needs of airlines and passengers, with the aim of establishing it as a world-class HUB airport connecting Africa to other continents.

This ambition is in line with the national airline's development plan, tourism strategy and the prospect of hosting the World Cup in 2030.

In this context, ONDA plans to launch a major long-term development project for Casablanca Mohammed V airport. This program would consist of the following:

  • The construction of a third independent parallel runway with associated aeronautical infrastructure
  • The construction of a new, expandable terminal area with state-of-the-art equipment
  •  The construction of a new control tower.
  • External developments on the airside and landside

The future development of airport infrastructure will occur on the west side of the existing terminals, involving the construction of a new runway and taxiways to enable independent parallel approaches. It also includes the construction of terminal facilities and aircraft parking between the new runway and the existing pair
