Pollution prevention
In terms of air navigation, the implementation of specific procédures :
« Continuous decreasing operations » enabling on the short and longer term
- Reduction of fuel consumption from 8% to 10%;
- Reduction of noise emissions from 2 to 9 db, and 23 to 42% reduction in areas affected by noise related to take offs;
- Noise reduction of 3 to 12 db, and 8 to 36% noise reduction in surrounding areas on the approach;
- 35% CO2, HC and NOX reductions and fuel savings from 50 to 1000 pounds per landing;
- Reduction of 90 to 630 kg of CO2 and savings of 60 to 440 pounds of fuel per take off
« Direct Roads and Free Road Spaces» allowing short and long term
- Monthly reductions in CO2 emissions of over 2500 tones
- Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by -3%
- Reduction in flight time by more than 2.5 min / flight
CO² emissions avoided: thanks to the allocation of direct air routes
