17 April 2024 - New Air Arabia base inauguration at Tétouan Saniat R'mel airport
Air Arabia has inaugurated its new operational base at Tetouan airport, strengthening air connectivity between Morocco and Europe. This expansion now enables 13 direct flights to various European destinations. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr Younes TAZI, Wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, Mr Hassan LIMOUNI, Saniat R'mel airport commander, Mr Mohamed BAHAJ, Tangier Ibn Batouta airport commander, Mr. Youssef BENNANI, Director of Marketing and Sales at ONDA, Mrs. Laila MECHBAL, General Manager of Air Arabia Maroc, as well as representatives of the Tétouan Provincial Tourism Council and other partners.
It should be recalled that the airport has welcomed more than 253,000 passengers in 2023, recording an increase of 35% compared with 2022.
