ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW TO TRAVEL SAFELY DURING COVID-19

 

Safety and health measures for a safe trip

 Moroccan Airports has set up adapted measures to safely accommodate passengers. The top priority of the system is to protect travelers, staff and all airport users.

 Social distancing, face mask and hygiene

 

We want our passengers to be able to travel again with no worry and in a pleasant way. Our first priority is to guarantee their safety and health as well as that of our staff.  We count on your cooperation to maintain social distancing to protect yourself and others.

 Always keep a 1.5 meters distance from others. Stickers on the ground are installed, throughout your way to organize the queues and ensure fluidity in the various airports areas

 To help you maintain social distancing: we have installed plexiglass screens where there is human interaction with passengers: check-in counters, information counters and border posts (Departure and Arrival).

  • Wearing a mask is mandatory in all airports areas.
  • It is recommended to wash and disinfect your hands regularly. Disinfectant gels distributors, free of charge, are installed on your way thought the different airports zones.

Sterile masks and disinfectant gels are also available for sale in some shops located in our airports..

 
Sanitary control

1. To leave the national territory :

  • The booster dose (D3) is required, if the second vaccine dose (or that of the single dose of the J&J vaccine) dates back to more than four months;
  • For people who have not received a booster dose and who have recently recovered from COVID-19, the 3rd dose can only be administered after 4 weeks (28 days) from the infection date. Thus, these people can leave the territory with :
    • Their old vaccination pass accompanied by a recovery certificate or a negative PCR test
    • And the result of the PCR or antigen test documenting the last infection

2. To enter the national territory:

New travel conditions to enter the national territory :

  • The valid COVID - 19 vaccine passport (administration of three doses or, only two doses, the administration time of the 2nd not exceeding 4 months, with the exception of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, where a single dose is equivalent to 2 doses of the other vaccines)

Or

  •  Negative result of PCR test of less than 72 hours (time between sampling and boarding).

And

Passenger's health form, to be downloaded online before boarding (also distributed on board), duly completed LINK;

Concerning children:

  • For children from 12 to 18 years old: a valid vaccination passport means receipt of two doses.
  • No access conditions are applied for children under 12 years old;
Disinfection and cleaning 
  • We enhance our cleaning and disinfection actions, especially for the trays at security screening, sanitary blocks and all the airports zones.
  • We disinfect baggage by using a virucidal sprayer at passenger access, check-in and delivery points.
