Mohammed V Airport Logistics Sector

This area, which covers 21.4 Ha, is located at the southern end of the airport platform in the vicinity of the new freight station with an actual size of 13.2 ha divided as follows:

  • A multifunctional center with offices, catering areas, cafes and various facilitation services to guarantee a smooth running of the place. Its plot size is 2,317 m² and a covered zone of 2,780 m² in R+1.
  • A set of 41 freight stores including those transferred from the former freight station. Each store ranges between 350 m² and 1,502 m², making a total of 17,055 m². The complex has sheltered traffic (6 022 m²), shelters for handling machines (3 432 m²) and customs check-points (1 843 m²).
  • A block of 19 storage depots (700 m² each) at the Aeropole (of private operators) for a total surface of 13,735 m².
  • A block available mainly for the major logistic operators at the airport (DHL, IDFS, CRONOPOST, UPS, etc...

Project Cost Estimation :

The cost of servicing the area (roads, car parks, sanitation, electricity supply, public lighting, drinking water, fire safety and telephone) is estimated at 32,000,000 DH on the basis of an average cost of 150 DH per square meter.
