THE AIRPORT INTRODUCTION
The Fes Sais airport is located about 12 km down south of the city of Fez.
The airport meets the international standards and safety and security norms recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The airport is certified ISO 9001, 2008 Version and 14001 2004 Version. The airport is also part of the Airport Service Quality program (ASQ).
The airport has presently one ongoing project. This is the case of the construction of a new terminal with a total area of 17,000 m2 : project discription
ROYAL AEROCLUB
Based in the Fez Saiss airport, the Royal Aeroclub is considered as a real sport and entertainment place in the city of Fez. It is under Mr Ali Belghazi presidency.
The Royal Aeroclub is open to neighboring residents and tourists as well. The Aeroclub has a plane and offers you a rich and diverse program.
Air drives or initiation flights with an instructor are programmed, to let you fly over the Fez region and its beautiful touristic monuments.
The Aeroclub also offers you theoretical and practical trainings for a Private Pilot License (PPL). These courses are delivered by a flying school.
The local weather, throughout the year favorable for VFR flight, is an advantage permitting to also to deliver the courses in very good conditions.
Finally, the Aeroclub offers training for the IFR instrument flight qualification.
