On Tuesday, February 5, 2024, a meeting was held to kick off the programming study for the extension of Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport. The study was assigned to the Spanish consulting firm INECO chosen after an international call for tenders.

This study covers both the airport's infrastructure and its connectivity by land and rail, aiming to address both current challenges and future needs within the sector. The primary objective is to improve the overall passenger experience, enhance safety and security protocols, and expand capacity to accommodate the growing volume of air traffic.
