As far as training is concerned, National Airports Authority –ONDA plays a leading role within the international aeronautical community.

Thus, Mohammed VI Civil Aviation International academy has been created, with the will to endow ONDA with its own autonomous training structure, and has quickly been transformed into a true international center, able to meet foreign aeronautical organizations specific needs.

To meet this target, the alliances strategy established by the Academy confers it, right now, an international recognition benefiting from a partnership network including  greatest international agencies and most renowned aviation schools :

  • Montreal International Civil Aviation Organization’s Safety Institute –sub-regional center –ICAO, which is a privileged partner, has granted the Academy it approval.
  • ICAO TRAINAIR Program in which the academy takes, as a full-time member, an active part, consolidating the viability idea of aeronautical training globalization approach.
  • International Airports council –IAC and its Airports Development fund –where   ONDA has a seat, has appointed the academy as a center of excellence in recognition to its capacities of organizing training courses and international seminars.
  • Toulouse National Civil aviation school –ENAC, co-operates closely with the academy in air navigation fields and develops training joint actions, particularly, Engineers training, technical expertise, information exchange   and collaboration in aeronautical research projects.
  • Paris THALES University, cooperation through Electronics aeronautical Institute to dispense software Engineering and aeronautical systems training courses.
  • Federal Aviation Administration –FAA Academy located in Oklahoma City– is connected to the academy by interactive satellite videoconference.
  • EAMAC which is a school of ANSECA –Air navigation security agency in Africa and Madagascar– through which trainings are transferred to African countries.
  • Montreal Concordia University; cooperation with an aim to jointly carry out an MBA in aviation management.

Thus, the Academy plays an active role within the international organizations, such as International Air transport association –IATA, Paris Airport, Eurocontrol Institute in Luxembourg, Canada VOR' Institute, Singapore Aviation Academy.

Moreover, and starting this year, the Academy has become a member of the International council for aeronautical training –ICAT This organization gathers various countries’ training establishments and aeronautical companies. A global network which aims at promoting a basic standardized aerospace training that is applicable internationally and in conformity with European and American standards.

For this purpose, this academy is positioned today to share the Moroccan know-how with worldwide aviation community.

Equipped with an educational, innovating and ambitious project integrating training, research and international culture, opened on the outside world and partner with renowned international centers, Mohammed VI International Civil aviation Academy is approaching the twenty first century with the will to be an influential actor for aeronautics engineering training.
